The development of new products and solutions for the reseller market is a key part of Societe Generale Equipment Finance’s (SGEF) commitment to the channel. We are continually looking to bring new ideas and concepts to our partners to provide flexible, innovative and meaningful finance solutions.
As a result, we are pleased to introduce a simple to understand, and use, 0% promotion for a broad range of technology products – without tying it to any one manufacturer or asset class. By using a lease agreement, and leveraging the trend towards usage over ownership, we can provide three-year finance to end user customers without paying extra. We believe this will both support the reseller from a promotional perspective and also the end user, again allowing them to keep their cash flow under control as we manoeuvre out of the Covid era under a backdrop of rising costs.
Driving payment solutions such as this via direct relationships with resellers brings benefit to both the vendor and reseller alike. On the reseller side we can support locally with finance as a sales tool, rather than just a “means to pay”, allowing for the end user customer to afford the solution they really need – rather than having to settle for what they can afford. For the vendor, we continue to work closely with the central teams but add support to the local level account managers and executives, presenting a united and consistent approach to the reseller and end user alike.
